Landscaping Projects
As a designer I truly believe that it is to our benefit to be as versatile as possible. Not only have I been focusing on interior architecture, but also graphic design and landscape design. Being a drafter for a landscape company was exciting, I was given the sketched out designs, and then draft them in a presentable, readable format, and then watch as properties that were once dead, and bare were given life again. These are just a sample of the many drawings I did for Rutland Nurseries, all of them were done in Pro Landscape. The names and address of clients are removed for privacy reasons.

For this client a series of local plants were brought in to line the edge of the property. One of the most popular plants on this drawing is the Rhododendron. Additionally, a series of Red Maples are displayed along the front yard, along with two lines of drip irrigation, one of the most environmentally friendly irrigation tactics. Up lighting is used in the backyard to give life to the Birch Trees during the night.

The entrance to this residence begins with an elongated driveway. Close to the street is a series of dead branches and leaves that the landscaping crew needs to clean up. Then, outlining the driveway is mulch with a series of plantings. A winding pathway from the driveway to the front door is created with Sedum and Juniper lining it.

This property focuses much of its landscaping efforts around the front entry way path. A mix of Russian Cypresses and Emerald Arbs create this beautiful layout. We conserve some resources by using pre existing Azaleas in the backyard, but fill in the missing areas with more Azalea and Daylily's.
